DIRECTOR: KOFI ADUKU
Kofi Aduku is the Managing Director of Adukus Law Limited trading as Adukus Solicitors. He is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. He is the Training Principal and supervisor of Trainee Solicitors at Adukus Solicitors.
Kofi is fully accredited with the Law Society’s Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme.
Areas of Practice
Criminal Investigations: Police Station and DVSA
Kofi is accredited to give free legal representation during police investigations. He provides representation to private clients during DVSA investigations into driving test impersonation.
Magistrates Court
Kofi represents clients at the Magistrates’ and Youth Courts. He is a member of the Duty Solicitor Schemes at the Bromley Magistrates Court and the Croydon Magistrates Court.
Crown Court
Kofi has represented clients in serious and complex criminal matters–and regularly instruct experienced Counsels for Crown Court matters.
Court of Appeal
Kofi Aduku also represents clients in Appeals against Conviction and/or Sentence at the Court of Appeal. He instructs counsels for written opinions on appeal against conviction and/or sentence and to settle Grounds of Appeal.
Over the years, Kofi Aduku has represented clients in matters including attempted murder, rape, grievous bodily harm, firearms offences, robbery, fraud, identity document fraud, gang crimes, armed robbery, theft, breach of probation and court orders, Youth Court matters, drink driving, domestic abuse, offences against children and vulnerable persons, harassment, pick-pocketing, shoplifting, vehicle interference, TWOC, threats to kill, controlled drugs offences, blackmail, telecommunications offences, County drug lines among others.
Prison Law
Kofi is an experienced Prison Law practitioner and has represented clients at adjudications before the Independent Adjudicator, Recall Review, Sentence Recalculation and Parole representations before the Parole Board.
Immigration Law
Kofi has successfully represented UK Military Assessment candidates whose visa applications have been refused by Entry Clearance Officers of the UKVS. He also has considerable experience in International Protection Law – Asylum and Humanitarian Protection.
